Houston Community Support

CarMax is a national Red Cross Disaster Responder Partner, annually donating $250,000 to ensure immediate response to those affected by disasters. CarMax and The CarMax Foundation are pledging an additional $100,000 to the Red Cross to help those affected in Houston. We are encouraging associates to donate to the Red Cross. For every dollar an associate donates to the Red Cross, The CarMax Foundation will double the amount.

How Associates Can Help Others

The best way to help is to provide financial donations to the Associate Disaster Relief Fund, as these contributions are double matched by the CarMax Foundation.

    • Donate to the CarMax Associate Disaster Relief Fund by texting KMX to 50155 or visit www.carmaxrelief.org.

The CarMax Foundation will double match Associate contributions to both the Red Cross and the Associate Disaster Relief Fund. This means a $25 contribution will actually result in a $75 donation with the 2:1 match by The CarMax Foundation. To request a match, visit foundation.carmax.com. When you enter your matching gift request for either organization, please choose the appropriate organization on your giving page.  Use [email protected] as the email to confirm the gift. All gifts are tax deductible.
